4th Annual Love Run 5K presented by DeKalb County District Attorney Sherry Boston
Please join DeKalb County District Attorney Sherry Boston for our fourth annual Love Run 5K in commemoration of Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. All proceeds will benefit the advocacy and prevention programs of the Women’s Resource Center to End Domestic Violence.
The Love Run will follow a fast course in Downtown Decatur. Awards will be presented for Overall Male/ Female, and in age groups 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60-69, and 70 and up. T-shirts guaranteed to all runners who register by February 12th. Food will be offered at the finish by local sponsors.
A student discount is being offered for this race.
The race will be electronically timed and is an official AJC Peachtree Road Race qualifier!
Strollers are permitted in this event. Dogs will not be allowed to participate.
New this year: DJ Mello will be on The Square for our always energetic pre-race warm-up and after race festivities!!
Packet pickup--Big Peach Decatur on Friday, February 22, from 11:00 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
Please note location change to new Whole Foods Shopping Center, 1565 Church Street in Decatur.
